

PASSPORT REQUIRED AS OF JUNE 1st, 2009
About 30 million visitors cross the border every year from the United States into Canada by car and an additional 18 million visitors a year arrive by boat or airplane from the USA and every other nation on earth.
As of June 1st, 2009, US & Canadian citizens will be required to present one of the following documents for entry into the United States by land or sea from Canada.
- US passport card
- Enhanced drivers license
- US/CAN passport
- Nexus card
Acceptable travel documents for U.S. citizens to cross the border until June 1st, 2009. (Choose one):
- Birth Certificate
- Citizenship Card
- Naturalization Certificate
- Green Card
Must be accompanied by one piece of valid government-issued photo identification such as a drivers license.
